That his grace and mercy are there for me... but new, deeper, and more astonishing than ever. As a father and now grandfather, I am completely blown away by God's tender love and forgiveness regardless of my failures.
One of your proudest moments?
Baptizing a student. Proud of their humility and courage and so thankful I got asked to participate in it. When you're doing it, it's like you're standing at the edge of something sacred and yet exhilarating
Your most memorable experience?
Marrying Teresa and having our children and grandchildren. Also living in a thatched hut and preaching in a thatched church on a mountainside in Haiti.

God has been reminding me that He deserves my obedience to Him and His Word. Living in a relativistic culture makes it sometimes easy to sort of "pick and choose" what I want to obey; but God has reminded me "if you love Me, you will keep my commandments"

When my children became Christians

Living through a tornado when I was 4 years old that destroyed our home.
